gtSuite 2.0
gtSuite 2.0 is a unique set of bioinformatics tools designed to sequence glycans through de novo interpretation of sequential mass spectrometry (MSn) data. gtSuite 2.0 does not attempt to match an unknown glycan sample against a database of known glycans or fragments, nor does it require the application of presumed biosynthetic constraints. By strictly interpreting the empirical data collected, gtSuite has proven to identify and characterize complex glycans as well as antigenic glycan structures in biotherapeutic proteins. Most recently, gtSuite has been utilized by a major biopharmaceutical company to investigate and characterize previously unidentified glycan species (Prien, 2010).

gtSuite 2.0 is currently composed of five integrated tools, which automate MSn data acquisition and interpretation, reducing analysis time, cutting costs, and improving analysis accuracy.

- gtIsoDetect™: Detection of structural isomers
- gtSequence™: Automated and semi-automated de novo glycan sequencing
- gtPredict™: MSn fragmentation pathway predictor
We are making gtAnnotate and gtIsodetect freely-available as an alpha release. The tools are limited in scope and for the strict interpretation of permethylated tandem (MS/MS) and sequential mass spectrometry (MSn) data.
